Dead ringer. Get it?

Recently, in a drawing class I am taking, we did some gestural drawings of one of those life-size model skeletons. In the later ones, we were told to just focus on the head and were given about 1-2 minutes per drawing.

Concept sketches for the Sandwich Shop Ninja logo, as well as some sketches of the SSN, some guy with poofy hair, some guy with a buzz cut, and That Kid That Got Hit With A Sandwich! Oh, and at the bottom we see a Synj-esque character head. That guy's got a great character style.

Science fiction is a genre favorite of mine. I'd have to say I find Robert McCall's art a huge inspiration when I try to think of how futuristic worlds would look.

Atarashii o tabemasu!

The Sandwich Shop Ninja was released a year ago. Now that I know more about Flash and animation I went through it, updating parts, and properly synchronized the sound and made this updated version of "The Sandwich Shop Ninja."

An entry for an animation collaboration with a group of around 20 people.

A piece done for my digital painting class. Corel Painter 9 does a spectacular job simulating watercolors. Too bad it's so difficult to get them to look the way you want.

What is it looking for?

It's a tree. Corel Painter is an interesting program. It actually simulates the look of actual tools on many different kinds of paper and canvas.

A background to be used in a very short animated clip I'm working on. It's not much, it's for a collaboration with a group of people. I'll post it in the Miscellaneous Animations section when I finish it.

Recently I've been playing around with the idea of a different design to the Sandwich Shop Ninja character.

Every student feels like this at some point.

This animation was a finalist in the 2005 Sierra College Scollies Animation Festival!

Catoman and some friends join in a game where to win, you need to blast your friends to smithereens!

The object here is to step on tiles to gain as much points as possible before exiting the level. The problem is, if you step on a tile too much it will collapse leaving Catoman to fall into oblivion!

I tried to go for "creepy," but I think I ended up with more of "just plain weird."

After the release of the updated version, I moved the original to the Animation Clips section.
