These are examples of my experience in game design. I did graphical assets for freelancing work, but for my own projects, I've done all programming in object-oriented ActionScript 3.

Knytt Stories
I created a few tilesets that are included in Knytt Stories for the use of user-created levels. Of the 255 included tilesets, I created sets 43, 49, 59, 80, 84, and 85.

Shattered Colony: The Survivors
I did the graphical assets for the Flash game "Shattered Colony: The Survivors," which includes the GUI, environment art, character animation, effects animation, menu art, and win/loss screen art.
The game's setting is a post-zombie apocalypse, where the survivors on a small city island must fend off the oncoming hordes of zombies and destroy the remaining bridges to the island to win.
It can be played at Kongregate and (at time of writing) has a rating of 4.19/5 with over 800,000 views overall.

Bridges of the Mertynn
Bridges of the Mertynn is a top-down puzzle game, where the player must navigate through a maze of architecturally-unsound bridges. It has a level editor, which will allow players to create and share their own levels over the internet.
